Fall is here in Central Florida!

Happy Fall from the Magic Kingdom
Well, The Anderson Adventure team blew right through Winter, Spring and Summer! It has been a busy year. The kids are now back in public school and Brian has returned to work. Thankfully, he works remotely, so he is home most of the time.

The Disney Parks are under full renovations and so much has changed! We visited the new Star Wars Galaxy's Edge Area and Disney's Hollywood Studios last week. We were very impressed as the wait time for the Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run was less than one hour, especially on a busy weekend morning! We are excited to see the finished product with Star Wars as another attraction is scheduled to open in early December.

More changes are coming to EPCOT. The front entrance is undergoing a major renovation, which means most of the pictures and activities are taking place at the back entrance, near World Showcase. EPCOT is extremely popular right now since the International Food and Wine Festival is taking place. I (Jessy) got to experience an afternoon to myself at EPCOT and even though it was very hot outside, I had a great time! I love the photo opportunities, especially for those who are annual passholders.

Passholder photo op at EPCOT. Boy, was it ever hot that day!
More fun was had recently at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. Each quarter, Disney Vacation Club Members have the opportunity to participate in "Moonlight Magic", where a park is only open for members. We have been lucky enough to attend three of these events in 2019. While we live so close to the parks, we decided to keep our DVC membership as it still continues to provide us with so many benefits, Moonlight Magic being one of them. While the weather was only "okay" that evening, we loved being able to see Pirate Donald Duck, enjoyed some fantastic coconut shrimp and the complimentary Mickey Ice Cream Bars/Sandwiches are always a big hit!
It's a Pirate's Life for all of us!

Mickey Ice Cream Sandwiches!
We look forward to the opening of the gondolas at Walt Disney World. This is a great, new way to get between some resorts and parks. While we haven't traveled abroad yet as we had hoped, we still have some fun adventures planned for the future including a trip to California and Disneyland! What I can I say?! We just can't get away from Mickey Mouse! Happy Fall and stay tuned for more updates!
